AMERICAN TRANSGENDER FROWNS AT BEING CALLED MOM BY HOSPITAL STAFF
An American transgender man, Bennet Kasper Williams, 37, has complained that nurses keep calling him "mom" during his pregnancy despite being a man.
According to the Sun, the Los Angeles native realised he was trans around 10 years ago but didn't begin his transition until three years later. Then six years later he met his husband Malik who he married in 2019.
They soon decided to have a baby and Bennet subsequently got pregnant naturally after much try. He had the baby boy through caesarean session in October 2020.
He however said he was dysphoric for being called a mom despite his full beard, flat chest and 'male' gender marker on all his identification. He said nothing felt feminine for him during the pregnancy instead he felt carrying a pregnancy with meeting hospital appointments was the toughest and bravest thing he had ever experienced. Bennet declared that he's just a dad who created his own child.
