HACKS TO HELP YOU SAVE MONEY
Whether you are a young adult, student, working class or you are retired, nobody likes to spend their money only to realise they have purchase unnecessary items while their needs are left hanging. While you may not have control over the economy, you do have control over the actions you take. Here are 10 money-saving life hacks for you:
1) Keep track of your spending, and separate wants from needs regularly before you spend.
2) Save regularly.
3) Cook more, eat out less.
4) Make a grocery list before you go to the store. Make a list of food items you need to buy and focus on it in the store rather than tossing items or/and buying unnecessary goods.
5)Buy nonperishable stuff you use all the time in bulk.
6) Use the library for books instead of tossing money away by requesting items via interlibrary loans.
7)Do small projects yourself before calling out for help that you will pay for.
8) Buy clothing in neutral colours so you don't need as many garments.
9) Plant some trees around your house. Tomato plants? Vegetables or herbs? Fruits trees? Plant them. Even if you won't live there long enough, enjoy the energy and money saving benefits of the shade. Also, you may decide to sell and make money off the produce while you consume them too.
10) Clean out your closets and sell everything you haven't used in the last few months.
