Dara: Can we meet you? WB: Yes, my name is NWUBA Precious, but popularly known as WB
Dara: What brought about the name WB?
WB: Lol...it was actually from secondary day, i play football then, and from football arguments... i was nicknames Worldbest. So starting my music career, i just shortened the nickname From Worldbest to WB
Dara: When Have you Started music?
WB: Started miming popular songs then in school with a friend, we recorded our first single few months after our Waec exam, September 2010... And it all started from there.
Dara: What has been your Source of Inspiration has a Musician? WB: Life generally and daily happenings; I also get inspired listening to 2face, Wizkid, Baba Fela, Psquare, Davido, Justin Bieber, Wande coal and every great artistes who do music. I listen to all genres of music.
Dara: What is your own genres, is it Afro or Hip-hop?
WB: Mmm, basically I'll call it Afro Pop, because its a fuse of different African sound and still trying to make it appeal to the world at large.
Dara: How many tracks have you dropped now?
WB: I really can't give a number again because its been a while coming, But you know at each stage, there's always re branding, So officially from 2017, I'll say 3 tracks excluding mix tapes.
Dara: Who is your Mentor in Music Industry?
WB: I have a very long list, everyone in the music industry is a mentor, to get to that stage is not easy and you learn from everyone of them to be better.
Dara: Which of the Biggest events have you perform so far?
WB: Ive shared stage with Lil-kesh, Dotman, Chinko Ekun, Mayorkun, Dremo, Ichaba, cant really say a particular event is d biggest though, can't remember names,,,
Dara: What is the Response of the fans?
WB: Very awesome and great, always feel loved to continue doing music.
Dara:You released a Song not quite Long Believe featuring ICHABA, How did you meet him?
WB: Met him through my producer "Runtinz" he also works with Ichaba, we did a song and he connected me to Ichaba, we talked about it and came up with the song..
Dara: How has been the relationship then between you and one of the Greatest DMW artiste, we will like to know?
WB: Been fine, he's a very cool and friendly person. Even the first day we met it was all love, like we've been friends for years. Moreover he likes the song we did together and we communicate almost everyday. He's a good person.
Dara: Are you in any Record label yet?
WB: Not really, just more like a movement between me and a couple of friends who sings too and we work together.
Dara: What are the Challenges You have Faced in Music industry?
WB: Alot, you know you have to pay to get a good quality song, afterwards you have to promote, blogs, radio promotion, try to do a video, do TV airplay. I wont lie its really challenging and as an upcoming artistes you don't get somethings yet, no proper royalty from your music, Its really tough and challenging.
Dara: When should we be Expecting Another Hit jam from you?
WB: Soon by God's grace. Got some songs I've recorded already, still working on some projects too. So hopefully I'll be dropping some soon.
Dara: Where do you see yourself in next five or Ten years time?
WB: At the top by His grace. Ruling, and 10 years... should have been a living legend in the industry.
Dara: Any Message to your fans out their?
WB: Keep doing you, never give up and pray always. Keep God first, God over everything....The best is yet to come.
